I didn't get my sign-in code

Check your spam folder first — the first message from a new sender often lands there. The code expires after an hour, and asking for a new one cancels the old, so use the most recent email you received.

If nothing arrives after a few minutes, wait a minute and request another. There is a limit on how many can be sent in a short period.

How does Enact build a study?

You name something you want to grow in. Enact organises Scripture on that subject into themes, and turns it into steps you can actually take.

The important part is how it handles Scripture. The AI chooses and arranges passages — it never writes verse text. Every reference is checked against a real Bible database before you see it, and anything that cannot be verified is dropped rather than shown. The words you read come from the translation itself, not from a model.

Which translations are included?

The Berean Standard Bible, the King James Version, and the World English Bible — all public domain. BSB is the default because it reads clearly for people new to Scripture. You can switch translations while reading any theme, and the same passages re-render instantly.

Why did my highlights disappear when I changed translation?

A highlight marks exact words. The same words sit in different places in a different translation, so showing your marks against text they were not drawn on would highlight the wrong thing. They are kept with the translation you made them in and reappear the moment you switch back.

I can't find where to sign out

Tap the gear in the top right. Sign out is there, along with your reminder time, a download of everything you have written, and account deletion.

Can I get my writing out?

Yes. Settings → Download everything gives you a file with your studies, notes, highlights, questions, journal entries and daily reflections. It is yours and you should be able to leave with it.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete my account. It removes everything you have written along with the sign-in account itself, immediately and permanently. Download your writing first if you want to keep it.

Is Enact a substitute for church or a pastor?

No, and it is built not to be. Enact supports your walk — it does not replace Scripture, your church, pastors, community, or prayer. If you are facing something serious, please talk to your pastor, a counsellor, or someone you trust. This is a study tool, not counselling.
